This wine was grown on the estate's highest point, where it was blessed with strong sunshine and cooling sea breezes. With impressive concentration, it has intense and slightly smoked notes of cherry, blackcurrant, and fig. The mouth remains fresh with menthol notes.

Located on the highest point of Bandol, facing the Mediterranean, Domaine de la Bégude produces wines of lithe freshness and bright minerality—a departure from the lusher, more rustic style that characterize the appellation. Wines are aged in a Merovingian chapel dating back to the 7th century.
