Château Durfort-Vivens 2017

Château Durfort-Vivens 2017

Bordeaux, France
91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot
One year after the estate was certified biodynamic, the wines already demonstrate the hard work put into preserving their living soils. Even though 2017 was an uneven vintage, this wine reveals intense black fruit notes and fine acidity. It's persistent and long-lasting, showing very good potential for aging.

Château Durfort-Vivens

Though the striking château greets you arriving at the estate in Margaux, it’s what’s happening under the vines that gets winemaker Gonzague Lurton out of bed each morning. A third-generation winemaker, Gonzague is a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming and is always in search of new ways to encourage microbiological life in his soil.
