Mas de la Dame

Mas de la Dame

Sisters Anne and Caroline are at helm of Mas de la Dame (“farm of the women”), the oldest estate in Les Baux-de-Provence. Nestled at the foot of the medieval village, the property has been immortalized in the paintings of van Gogh and the writings of Simone de Beauvoir and French astrologer Nostradamus.

Meet the Winemaker

Anne and Caroline proudly represent the 4th generation of this family estate. Both women are strongly rooted in their community. Anne is the mayor of the village and Caroline is the president of the Les Baux-de-Provence Appellation.
Our Winemaking

The vines are planted in limestone-rich soil and located on the southern slope of the Alpilles. The mistral winds blow frequently, promoting vine health, regulating the temperature, and concentrating flavors in the fruit. Each plot and grape variety are vinified separately, with the utmost care and attention to detail. The result? Organic wines of great finesse and precision.
