Domaine Luneau-Papin
A budding romance between two neighboring Loire Valley wine families flowered into what is now Domaine Luneau-Papin. Pierre-Marie Luneau, the son of Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin, now runs the estate with his wife Marie. They tirelessly fight to establish official recognition for the Muscadet region.

Our Experiences
Meet the Winemaker
Pierre-Marie has led the winery since he took over the estate in 2004. His wife Marie joined him in 2008. She created the association "Les Vins de Nantes," a passionate community of outstanding winemakers who campaign to elevate the reputation of the appellation.
In the Vineyard & Cellar
Luneau-Papin's biodynamic vineyard is 40 hectares and exports to more than 40 countries. Pierre-Marie spends a lot of time in the vines and is a specialist of pruning and cultivating healthy grapes, an essential element to making excellent wine. Wines are traditionally aged on lees with some aging in oak. Older vintages of Luneau-Papin are the best evidence these wines age beautifully.
