Meet the Winemaker
The 18 hectares of Domaine Corinne & Jean-Pierre Grossot are located in the scenic hills of the Fleys commune on the right bank of the Serein River. Jean-Pierre produces exemplary wines by bringing the rich fruitiness of Chardonnay and flinty mineral quality of the Kimmeridgian soil into perfect balance. Grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The juice ferments slowly at low temperatures and ages in stainless steel tanks. Jean-Pierre often releases wines up to two years later than other growers, believing his Chardonnay benefits from extra time in the bottle.
