Our Experiences
Meet the Winemaker
Named Château de Pommard's head winemaker in 2007, Emmanuel Sala injected the Clos Marey-Monge with fresh life. His love affair with biodynamics began in Alsace where he built his foundation in organic and biodynamic viticulture.
In the Vineyard & Cellar
Château de Pommard's Clos Marey-Monge is a collection of microclimates and soil types. Comprised of seven connected plots, each has a different soil composition essential to growing superior Pinot Noir. Emmanuel leaves nature in control, intervening as little as possible. Each plot is hand-harvested, fermented, and aged separately.
