Domaine Antoine Lienhardt
Antoine Lienhardt was raised in the hills of the Côte de Nuits and watched his grandfather work the vines he now cares for. At the age of 25, he took over the family’s vineyards, which he now runs with his sister Héloïse, who is growing the family estate into a globally recognized winery.

Our Experiences
Meet the Winemaker
Antoine was born and raised in Burgundy. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a winemaker. Antoine honed his winemaking skills through stints in Chablis, Chambolle-Musigny and South Africa before returning to the vines his grandfather planted in the 1960s.
In the Vineyard & Cellar
Typical of the Côte de Nuits, two of Antoine’s plots have shallow clay topsoil on limestone. His third has deeper clay and is less stony. Antoine began organic farming in 2016 and now practices biodynamics. He feels the key to great wine begins with the grape. Grapes are harvested by hand and sorted in the vineyard. All wines are vinified without added sulfur and age in barrels for 12 to 14 months.
