Lars began his wine journey in the wine and viticulture program at California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo. His curiosity has taken him to vineyards in Europe, California and beyond. Lars aims to demystify the complex world of wine for others, while harnessing wine's ability to bring people together to share experiences and make memories.

What’s your favorite food and wine pairing and why?
Clare Valley dry Riesling and coconut shrimp yellow curry.
What’s the bottle that got you into wine?
The bottle that got me into wine was a 2015 Paso Robles Grenache-Mourvèdre from the Willow Creek District AVA. It was both powerful and lively. Dense fruit with bright acidity. It exposed me to the balance that could be achieved in wine.
